With the Ibanez Talman Bass TMB100-WNF Walnut Flat, the Japanese company presents a four-string electric bass in the highly distinctive Talman design first introduced in 1994. The combination of poplar body, bolt-on maple neck and passive Ibanez Dynamix pickups promises a classic yet versatile sound that can be individually adjusted via the active 2-band EQ.
The Ibanez Talman Bass features a classic combination of a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck, promising a warm primary tone with a powerful low end and crisp attack. The strong "TMB" neck profile nestles pleasantly to the hand while playing, whereas the Jatoba fretboard with 41 mm nut width offers enough space for clean fingerings between the 20 medium frets.
The Ibanez Talman Bass TMB100 features passive Ibanez Dynamix pickups covering a wide range of classic sounds. The Ibanez Dynamix P Split-Coil in the middle position impresses with its merciless rock sound that pushes every groove through the band sound with an aggressive growl in the low midrange, whereas the Dynamix J single-coil on the bridge delivers a smoothly articulating tone with high transparency and wiry precision. Furthermore this four-string is equipped with an active 2-band EQ for further sound adjustment.
this is a beautiful bass. although i m not an ibanez fan this one it surely is a good looking bass with a beautiful sound and easy play. the most important thing however is it's price. i can't think any other bass as good as this one for under 200euros.
recomended for begginers as for someone who wants an instument for everyday use in practice with or without a band with or without an amp.
Great sound, great looks, great materials, great build... At less than EUR200, it certainly feels like you just get a whole lot of bang for your buck. In love with this thing.
So impressed with this bass. I've been a gigging musician for over 30 years but bought this for my son to learn bass. It has FAR surpassed my expectations. It looks, feels, plays and sounds excellent. Easily worth twice its price tag.
