The top made of maple burl stabilized with blue synthetic resin provides a sensational look, while a HSH pickup setup on the amplifier makes a splash. The flat Wizard neck made of wenge and maple promises extremely agile playing characteristics on the 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Fine woods, agile handling

The swamp ash body in typical RG shape has a top made of maple burl stabilized with blue synthetic resin, whose appearance evokes memories of an interstellar nebula. Wide cutaways and the All Access Neck Joint also guarantee unhindered access to the high registers of the three-piece neck made of wenge and maple. While the flat j.custom Wizard neck profile guarantees extremely sporty handling for riffs and solos at the speed of light, the stainless steel frets make bendings run smoothly and like on rails.

HSH Setup from DiMarzio

With DiMarzio's HSH pickup setup, the JCRG2101 delivers a richly varied spectrum of top-notch rock and metal sounds at the guitar amp. In the bridge position, a DiMarzio The Tone Zone humbucker provides a rich tone that responds dynamically to playing technique, making shaping expressive overdrive and distortion sounds a breeze. The DiMarzio Air Norton humbucker on the neck, meanwhile, promises warm tones with airy detail, while the True Velvet single-coil in middle position delivers a velvety single-coil tone. The flexible 5-way pickup selector is also supplemented by a mini switch for splitting the humbuckers.

Edge Tremolo, Gotoh Tuner

The Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge Double-Locking Tremolo of the j.custom JCRG2101 convinces with an extremely smooth handling and enormous tuning stability, so that even heavy Whammy-Bar acrobatics with Dive-Bombs and Squeals can be realized without any problems.
