The Ibanez j.custom RG8520SLTD-NTF Natural Flat electric guitar combines the sleek RG design with top-quality fine woods and hot pickups to create a chic electric guitar for solid rock and metal shredding. In addition to the African mahogany body and bolt-on maple and wenge "Super Wizard" neck, the Japanese-built electric guitar features a heavily grained Sapele top and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with tree-of-life inlay. Splittable DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers promise multi-faceted clean and overdrive sounds, allowing every note played to cut through the mix with clear precision and crisp attack. A tuning stable Ibanez Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo and Gotoh tuners complete the Ibanez j.custom RG8520SLTD-NTF Natural Flat.

For the construction of the Ibanez j.custom RG8520SLTD, Ibanez uses selected fine woods that combine a stunning look with ideal sound characteristics. The RG body, designed with wide cuts and made of African mahogany, carries a Sapele top with an intense grain, whilst the bolt-on neck has enormous stability thanks to the five-piece construction made of maple and wenge. Thanks to the rounded all-access neck joint and the extremely flat "j.custom Super Wizard" neck profile with just 17 mm of wood under the first fret, the Macassar ebony fingerboard can be played freely up to the highest registers, while a chic tree-of-life inlay and fluorescent side dots make navigation easy.

Wound exclusively for Ibanez by the New York pickup forge, the Fusion Edge humbuckers impress with modern voicing for harmonious clean and transparent overdrive sounds. Tight basses and crisp highs create optimal conditions for a precise representation of every note, even in drop tunings. The mini-switch between the volume and tone controls activates the optional coil split, which expands the RG8520SLTD's sound repertoire with clear single-coil sounds.
