The J&D YC-780 7 String Electric Guitar, Metallic Black finally gives you the chance to own a 7 string guitar at a truly remarkable price. Whilst the YC-780 may be primarily regarded as a heavy metal guitar, its excellent tonal qualities mean that it can easily adapt to a variety of other musical genres including jazz fusion and progressive rock, where the extension of a lower octave on the B string can be very practical.
The YC-780 has been constructed using a solid alder body, bolt on maple neck layered with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard, resulting in amazing feel and playability.
The J&D YC-780s two Humbucker pickups with a 3 way selector switch ensures that the guitar offers the player plenty of fantastic tonal versatility. The guitar is finished in a stunning metallic black and has been constructed using chrome hardware.

I bought this guitar as my first foray into 7 string, and was amazed that they could make it for the price. I am a small scale luthier, and could not make one for this price. It took a couple of hours to set up, fret dress, and put in a bone nut, but she plays very well, and now feels wonderful, and is fast becoming one of my favourite guitars.
DV247 were extremely helpful when the shipping company delayed the shipment from Germany as they missed the trailer (their own trailer!) to send it to the uk, but DV247 checked the shipping, and within a day it was back on the way, so thank you to the customer service team for the assistance, it really was appreciated, thank you.
If you want a guitar to sample the 7 string experience, for very reasonable money, that will require very little work to become a great player definitely take a look at the Jack and Danny 7 string, it will get a lot of gig used over the next few years, one of the best purchases I have made in years.
