One would not expect such a warm and overtone-rich sound spectrum with a laminated body, whilst the flat string position set by the factory provides a pleasant playing feeling and comfortable fretting experience.
Orientation around the soft-touch Rosewood fingerboard is more easily realised with the plastic white dot inlays. A white plastic binding ensures a high-contrast and flawless transition from the ceiling to the frame. All in all, the D-60 Black Non-Cutaway by Jack & Danny is a real guitar wonder to be found in this price segment.

For the money - a really good guitar. It feels good to play on (an adjustment of the neck saddle/string height is recommended though) and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The tone is OK too.
A good beginners choice!
