JHS Angry Charlie V3 Overdrive

The JHS Angry Charlie V3 HiGain Overdrive Pedal is the latest version of the classic JHS hi-gain stompbox. The most notable addition is the EQ tone section – 3 separate knobs for Bass, Middle and Treble. These controls are effectively cut and boost filters, with a flat response set at 12 o clock. The Drive knob remains in the same role as in its previous incarnations, adding dirt/overdrive in greater saturation the further it is turned up. For high-gain overdrive with a British flavour the Angry Charlie is a tough box to beat.
