JHS Pedals Haunting Mids

The JHS Pedals Haunting Mids is an extremely versatile mid-range booster that gives every setup the right mid-range. The Sweep control allows the centre frequency to be set from 400Hz-7.5kHz whilst the Mids control can be used to boost or lower the centre frequency. Anything above 12 o'clock adds additional mids to the signal, whilst under 12 o'clock, burning, clear scooped sounds are available. The hi/lo switch acts as a quality control and adjusts the boost either over a wide frequency range or very steeply in order to process specific frequencies. The Haunting Mids is also ideal for controlling pre-amps with a well-groomed mid-boost into the breakup. Last but not least, the additional volume control is available as a global boost or cut of up to 10db across all frequencies.
