American Series SL2 DX: Classic Soloist construction
The SL2 DX features the iconic Speed Neck, extending from the 6-in-line headstock to the rear strap pin, constructed from three pieces of maple for stability and resonance. A glued ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo stainless steel frets and a compound radius from 12" to 16" ensures smooth, comfortable playability across the entire neck. Alder body wings are finished in eye-catching Lemon Ice, completing the Soloist’s classic look.
Seymour Duncan '59 & JB
Equipped with a Seymour Duncan SH-1 ’59 neck humbucker and a TB-4 JB Trembucker bridge pickup, this combination is a favorite among hard rock and metal players. The JB Trembucker delivers punchy, high-output tones, while the ’59 neck pickup provides warm cleans and sustained leads. Both US-made pickups are controlled via a five-way selector switch, with shared volume and tone knobs for versatile sound shaping.
