The body is made of mahogany, which is complemented by an arched top made of curly maple. The full-length three-piece maple neckwith graphite reinforcement ensures robust handling and optimum stability, while the ebony fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets offers lightning-fast playability. Two DiMarzio CB6 Chris Broderick Signature humbuckers mounted directly in the body deliver a brute sound with enormous versatility. Enhanced by coil split via push/pullon the volume pot and a tone kill function on the tone control, the instrument offers numerous tonal possibilities that go far beyond pure use in heavy genres. Complemented by a Gotoh 1996T double-locking tremolo with Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo arm for uncompromising tuning stability, TESI killswitch for creative stutter effects and high-quality Jackson hardware, the result is an uncompromising signature instrument for modern metal sounds and demanding stage work.
