The Jackson Pro Plus Soloist SLA2 series is aimed at modern players who are looking for a fast, ergonomic superstrat with extensive features. The Nyatoh body has a curved top and is designed for direct handling, while the three-piece neck (maple/walnut/maple) is of neck-thru construction and offers additional stability thanks to graphite reinforcements. The ebony fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets supports precise playing across the entire neck and is easy to orientate on dark stages thanks to Binding and luminlay side dots. In terms of sound, the series relies on a classic, versatile humbucker setup with Seymour Duncan JB (bridge) and '59 (neck), mounted as a direct mount, combined with a 5-way switch as well as volume and tone controls for quick sound changes in live operation. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series Tremolo is perfect for vibrato use or heavy dive-bombs, while the tuning remains reliably stable.
