The Jackson X Series Soloist SLX DX brings the typical Soloist look and fast Jackson playing features to a more attractively priced category and is aimed at modern metal and rock players looking for a powerful workhorse. The poplar body is combined with a neck-through maple neck, which is additionally stabilized by graphite reinforcement. The laurel fingerboard has a 12"-16" compound radius and is equipped with 24 Jumbo frets, allowing both rhythm work and lead playing in high registers to be performed in a controlled manner. In terms of sound, the HH setup with Duncan Designed HB-103N (neck) and HB-103B (bridge) delivers a high output for distorted sounds, complemented by volume and tone controls as well as a 3-way switch for quick changes. A Jackson hardtail bridge has been installed for uncomplicated string changes, which, in combination with Jackson die-cast tuners, ensures robust tuning!
