The Jackson X Series Soloist SLX DX brings the classic Soloist look and the fast-playing feel typical of Jackson guitars to a more accessible price category. It is aimed at modern metal and rock players looking for a powerful and reliable workhorse for stage, studio, and rehearsal. The poplar body is paired with a neck-through maple neck that is additionally stabilized with graphite reinforcement rods, providing excellent stability and sustain. The laurel fingerboard features a 12"-16" compound radius and is equipped with 24 jumbo frets, enabling precise rhythm playing as well as comfortable lead work in the higher registers. In terms of sound, the HH pickup configuration with Duncan Designed HB-103N in the neck position and Duncan Designed HB-103B in the bridge position delivers powerful high-output tones that are particularly suited for distorted sounds.
