The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV Black combines the coveted Jackson feel with flexible rock and metal tones to create a practical 4-string E-Bass with top-notch value. Split Jackson medium-output humbuckers and an active Preamp with 3-band EQ promise a wide sound spectrum for almost any style at the bass amplifier. Sweeping design with excellent playing comfort
The sweeping, modern design of the X Series Spectra Bass promises remarkably agile playing characteristics and a sustain-rich, balanced sound. The heart of the bass guitar is undoubtedly the full-length maple neck with graphite reinforcement, whose flat "Speed Neck" shaping guarantees unhindered playability of all 24 frets it Indian Laurel fingerboard. Nyatoh wood body wings complete the X Series Spectra Bass, while the ergonomic design with long upper body horn promises a balanced playing position both at the strap and in a sitting position.
Medium-output humbucker and active preamp
The electrical sound conversion is done by two Jackson medium-output humbuckers, which, thanks to coil-split, not only deliver a powerful sound with well-dosed aggressiveness but also transparent single-coil tones with brilliant highs. To be able to adjust the sound precisely, Jackson equips the electric bass guitar with an active preamp, whose 3-band equalizer allows precise intervention in the character-shaping frequency ranges. In addition, the four-string Bass can be played in classic passive mode.
