The TubeDeamer mk.2 takes Jam Pedals’ tried-and-tested 808 overdrive concept to the next level! At the heart of the new version is still the JRC4558D chip, whilst the revised gain structure now allows for finer resolution at low gain settings. For added flexibility, the pedal offers two clipping modes: the asymmetrical 3-diode clipping provides dynamic response and classic overdrive compression, whilst the no-diode mode responds in a more open, transparent and amp-like manner. The separate high-gain footswitch also provides an additional gain stage, making the Tubedreamer mk.2 an attractive option for lead sounds and more prominent parts on stage. Internal trimmers allow for precise level adjustment of the high-gain stage, whilst the storable default settings for the effect and high-gain modes further simplify use in a live setup.
