With the KA-15s-S the manufacturer Kala extends their rich ukulele assortment by a soprano size model with a light spruce top and a mahogany body producing an amazingly loud and bright sound despite its small size. A solid mahogany neck with a walnut fingerboard and a 35 mm nut width offers enough space to easily handle even extensive fingerings. Due to the short 346 mm scale length, no great effort is required to produce a clean tone that intonates perfectly in all 12 frets thanks to a Graph Tech Nubone saddle and nut. A matte finish and smooth, simple tuners complete the overall appearance of the instrument in a pleasantly rustic way.
