The Kala U-Bass SUB4FS-BRST Tobacco Sunburst is a compact solid body bass ukulele that surprises with its mature and sonorous sound. By combining the specially developed Pahoehoe strings and the Shadow U-Bass NFX pickup system, the ukulelen bass delivers a powerful sound when playing amplified bass, whose deep bass foundation and powerful midrange spectrum clearly resemble a double bass. An active 2-band tone control is available for fine tuning the sound. Hipshot Ultralite tuners with adapted winding axles also ensure an exact and stable tuning of the ukulele bass.
