High and mid range driver as a coaxial speaker.

The Kali Audio IN-5 is a further development of the 2-way monitors of the LP series and comes as a 3-way monitor with bass reflex tube and level-proof woofer. Instead of a classic tweeter, the IN-5 has a combined tweeter and midrange driver (1"/4"), which is combined into one coaxial speaker.


Harmonious and distortion-free

Thanks to the coaxial design, the mid-range driver can relieve the tweeter and bass driver without causing phasing problems. This allows the IN-5 to operate more harmonically and distortion-free than standard 2-way systems.

Low-frequency response and localization

The crossover frequency of the coaxial tweeter-midrange is 280Hz, ensuring that the IN-5 becomes an acoustic point source. There is no phase cancellation on the vertical axis. The dispersion behaviour is uniform over the entire frequency response and thus contributes to a detailed depth and localization. The stereo image also benefits from this coaxial design.
