Seven new FX slots: A total of 20 effect blocks in series and looper upgrade

A highlight of the MK 2 series is the expanded effects section: instead of the previous 13, up to 20 effect blocks can now be used simultaneously. Seven new FX slots, including a second Noise gate, compressor, wah-wah, vintage and air Chorus as well as the Double tracker, offer more creative control than ever before. There are also classic effects such as delay, Reverb and modulation, which are directly accessible via their own dedicated controls and buttons. The looper has also been revised and now offers significantly more creative scope with two minutes of recording time. At the heart of the new Profiler Head MK 2 is a modernised processor platform, which not only ensures shorter boot times (approx. 20 seconds), but also significantly smoother processes when changing presets and in navigation, which is particularly noticeable in performance mode.

New "Liquid Profiling" with over 100,000 frequency points

With 8 native channels, multitrack recordings and re-amping can be realised directly in the DAW without an additional audio interface. At the same time, Kemper is announcing a new Generation profiling feature. The new Liquid Profiling promises over 100,000 frequency points per profile, dynamic cab resonance and an incomparably realistic playing feel thanks to hybrid measurement methods, taking Kemper one step closer to even more detailed amp models.



Familiar strengths, new possibilities

The operating concept of the Profiler Head remains intuitive and practical in the MK 2: Many of the most important functions can be accessed at the touch of a button or via dedicated controls - from gain and Master Volume to Noise gate, EQ, mod, Delay or reverb. Browser, Perform and Profiling modes can be easily switched using the rotary switch. For extended control, the Profiler Remote MK 2 can be integrated via plug-and-play, as can external pedals and footswitches. The variety of connections remains impressive: in addition to several jack and XLR outputs for monitor, main and direct Out, there are MIDI In/Out/Thru, USB A/B, SPDIF and ground lift switches for interference-free routing. Use in classic cab or FRFR setups is just as easy as in wet-dry-wet configurations or hybrid with analogue rigs.
