Packed with new features, practical enhancements for both studio and stage, and the groundbreaking Liquid Profiling technology, Kemper demonstrates what modern amp modeling can achieve. The profiling process is now even more precise, capturing over 100,000 frequency points while seamlessly integrating the original gain and tone behavior into each amp profile. In the classic top-section format, the Kemper Profiler Head MK 2 is an ideal choice for rehearsal rooms and live stages. With an expanded variety of effects, optimized performance, 8-channel USB recording, and next-generation profiling, the Profiler Head MK 2 delivers top-tier sound quality and maximum routing flexibility for both live and studio use in a single device.
The Profiler Remote MK 2 is the updated version of Kemper’s proven floor controller, designed as the perfect partner for the new MK 2 series. It is equally suited for use with the Profiler Head MK 2, Profiler Rack MK 2, or older Kemper models. The Remote MK 2 offers direct access to all essential Kemper functions, making it an indispensable tool for rehearsals and live performances. With features such as extended effect slots, faster preset switching, USB multitrack audio, and the revised performance mode, it is now more valuable than ever to have direct, on-the-fly access to sounds, effects, and live functions. In addition to rig changes and effects bypass, it also provides access to tap tempo, tuner, and looper functions.
A key highlight of the MK 2 series is the expanded effects section. Instead of the previous 13, up to 20 effect blocks can now be used simultaneously. Seven new FX slots, including a second noise gate, compressor, wah, vintage chorus, air chorus, and double tracker, offer more creative options than ever before. Classic effects such as delay, reverb, and modulation remain directly accessible via dedicated controls and buttons. The looper has also been upgraded and now provides two minutes of recording time for greater creative flexibility. At the core of the Profiler Head MK 2 is a modernized processor platform that shortens boot times to around 20 seconds and ensures smoother operation when switching presets or navigating menus, which is particularly noticeable in performance mode.
With 8 native USB channels, multitrack recording and reamping can be handled directly in your DAW without the need for an additional audio interface. The new Liquid Profiling feature captures over 100,000 frequency points per profile, offers dynamic cabinet resonance, and delivers a highly realistic playing feel thanks to hybrid measurement methods. This advancement takes Kemper even closer to creating the most detailed amp models possible.
The Profiler Head MK 2 retains the intuitive and practical operating concept that Kemper is known for. Many key functions such as gain, master volume, noise gate, EQ, modulation, delay, and reverb are accessible at the touch of a button or via dedicated controls. Browser, Perform, and Profiling modes are easily selected using the rotary switch. For extended control, the Profiler Remote MK 2 can be connected via plug-and-play, along with external pedals and footswitches. The variety of connections remains impressive, with multiple jack and XLR outputs for monitor, main, and direct out, MIDI in/out/thru, USB A/B, SPDIF, and ground lift switches for interference-free routing. It works equally well with traditional cabinets, FRFR systems, wet/dry/wet configurations, or hybrid setups that combine digital and analog rigs.
