With the Profiler PowerRack MK 2, Kemper presents the new version of its renowned amp modeler in a practical 19" rack format. The new generation not only stays visually true to its legendary predecessor but also impresses with numerous new features specifically designed to meet the demands of studio work, live performance, and discerning producers. With its 600-watt Class D power amplifier, the Profiler PowerRack MK 2 is the perfect solution for rehearsal rooms and stage setups and is ideally suited for use with passive cabinets. In addition to noticeably improved performance, the MK 2 PowerRack offers more effects, extended routing options, faster preset switching, and an enhanced USB audio function with eight channels for multitrack recording and re-amping. The Profiler PowerRack MK 2 is the ideal choice for anyone looking for a compact yet comprehensive rack-mounted all-rounder.
With the Profiler Remote MK 2, Kemper launches the revised version of its proven floor controller, making it the perfect companion for the new MK 2 series. Whether used with the Profiler Head MK 2, the Profiler Rack MK 2, or older models, the Remote MK 2 offers direct control over all key functions of your Kemper, making it an essential tool for both rehearsal rooms and live performance. With features like extended effect slots, faster preset switching, USB multitrack audio, and an improved performance mode, it’s more important than ever to have direct access to sounds, effects, and live functions. It not only enables rig changes and effect toggling but also provides access to tap tempo, tuner, and looper functions.
At the heart of the MK 2 series is a significantly expanded effects section. With a total of 20 effect blocks, including seven brand new ones, the Profiler Rack MK 2 offers new creative freedom for complex setups. The new effects include a second Noise Gate, a Compressor, WahWah, Vintage Chorus, Air Chorus and a Double Tracker. All effects can be arranged in freely definable sequences and precisely controlled via dedicated buttons and screen controls. The internal looper has also been upgraded and now offers up to two minutes of recording time. This makes it perfect for layering exercises, developing song ideas or live improvisation.
A highlight of the MK 2 series is the built-in USB audio interface with eight channels. Multitrack recording, re-amping or direct integration into your DAW is now easier than ever. At the same time, Kemper introduces a new generation of digital profiling. The upcoming Liquid Profiling feature will capture over 100,000 frequency points per profile, allowing for an even more detailed reproduction of the original amplifier. Gain and tone behavior will also be modeled with greater precision, bringing amp profiling closer than ever to the real thing.
In addition to significantly faster boot performance of around 20 seconds, the Profiler Rack MK 2 allows for quicker navigation, especially when switching presets or using performance mode. The user interface remains familiar, with plenty of dedicated buttons and rotary knobs to support intuitive operation without unnecessary complexity. The 19" rack unit is a reliable and robust solution for touring setups, while its clear layout and comprehensive connectivity options make it equally suitable for demanding studio use.
