The EVENT sounds as a space-saving module

With the EVS, Ketron introduces a compact sound module delivering the high-quality tones of the EVENT Entertainer keyboard. The EVS comes with 128 factory presets, each capable of combining up to three independent GM voices. Users can also modify and swap these presets to suit their needs. The 4 GB sound memory provides over 500 premium tones and 63 percussion sets, covering a wide range of styles, including Rock, Pop, Schlager, Folk, and Evergreens. The sound palette is further enriched by a virtual drawbar organ, fully controllable via the included editor. To polish the sounds, the EVS features multiple effect types, including delay, reverb, distortion, and modulation effects such as chorus, flanger, and phaser. Its 144-voice polyphony is allocated across all parts and MIDI channels, ensuring even dense arrangements play without dropped notes.

Control is simple: the device has a single volume knob, while all other functions are managed via MIDI. Your master keyboard or controller must support CC and program change commands. For added convenience, the EVS includes a free program editor for PC and Mac, required for creating sounds and loading banks.
