This stand supports a variety of fittings, and most recently I have used the 21411 stand with a König & Meyer 21231 telescopic boom to mount a stereo bar and overhead pencil condensors for suspension outside a camera frame when videoing some work with a grand piano. The 21411 is reassuringly substantial and affords a robust platform that inexpensive lightweight stands require one to tiptoe around.
