Very pleased with this stand as I needed something with a relatively small base and I needed it to be very sturdy to hold some expensive equipment. Heavy cast iron base makes me feel it's not going anywhere and the pole feels just as sturdy with a nice spring loaded position lock to make sure when you set it, it's not going anywhere. Well worth the money in my opinion.
