Wireless connection of MIDI instruments and Bluetooth-MIDI devices

The Korg BM 1 enables a wireless connection between MIDI instruments and Bluetooth MIDI devices using the latest Bluetooth technology. Efficient algorithms ensure optimized performance with minimal latency. The MIDI transmission system consists of two elements. The larger adapter functions as MIDI Out, while the smaller unit handles the MIDI In connection and operates only in conjunction with the Out unit. If you are dealing with long MIDI cable runs or want to integrate an electric piano at the other end of the room or a Bluetooth MIDI controller, the BM 1 is a practical solution. Two BM 1 units are required for bidirectional MIDI communication between devices. For connecting a MIDI instrument directly to a Bluetooth device such as a laptop or Bluetooth MIDI controller, only one BM 1 is needed. Using the free BM 1 app, up to five BM 1 units can be grouped under iOS or iPadOS. Firmware updates for the MIDI transmission system can also be carried out via the app.
