The Korg E1 Air in detail

The Korg E1 Air is a digital piano that combines a modern, space-saving design with the latest sound technology. It features the newly developed 2x 40 watt EvoTone sound system, which enables high sound resolution, balanced dynamics and detailed output. The robust housing supports the sound development and contributes to a voluminous, clearly defined overall sound.

The matte black finish and flat lid ensure a minimalist, contemporary design that blends unobtrusively into a variety of living environments. In addition to its acoustic performance, the instrument is designed for durability and reliability.

The E1 Air is manufactured in Japan and is subject to strict quality controls. The precise workmanship of all components - from the keyboard mechanism to the housing - ensures consistently high playing quality. This makes the digital piano suitable for private use as well as for demanding practice and playing environments.

Sound selection & polyphony

The digital sound generation of the E1 Air impresses with 30 professional sounds that musically cover a wide range from all genres of classical music, but also pop music and jazz. The piano sounds Piano 1 and 2 in particular have been carefully sampled from two Italian grand pianos. They impress with transparency and an expressive, nuanced sound. The entire range is covered, from delicate pianissimo to powerful fortissimo.

Brilliance, reverb and chorus effects are each available in three variations, allowing the sound to be tailored to personal preference. With 120 voice polyphony, even fast and complex passages can be played without notes dropping out.

Convenient additional functions

The keyboard includes Layer, Split and Dual Partner modes. These allow two sounds to be combined across the entire keyboard, a second sound to be assigned to the lower range for the left hand, or the keyboard to be divided so that two people can play side by side on the same instrument.

The two-track recording function proves to be very helpful when practicing new pieces. This allows you not only to inspect yourself but also to replace the third and fourth hand on the instrument when practicing alone.

Other features include 50 songs to play along to and the integrated metronome with a wide speed range.

Flexible connection options

In addition to the analog stereo inputs and outputs, the digital interfaces are particularly interesting, as MIDI and audio are transmitted via Bluetooth and USB. This means that the digital piano can be used to enter notes in conjunction with music production software (DAW) and send the sound to the computer for recording in one go.

The instrument can be connected to a tablet via Bluetooth, for example, to play music from YouTube on the speakers or to use a piano learning app.

Thanks to two headphone outputs, it can also be played and practiced undisturbed at any time of day.
