Kurzweil KM88 - MIDI Controller
The KM88 from Kurzweil is a high-quality USB keyboard controller with an outstandingly playable, velocity-sensitive hammer action keyboard with 88 keys. The classic playing aids Pitchbend and modulation wheel are designed as a handy joystick and there are pedal inputs for sustain, foot switch and expression. In addition, the KM88 can manage up to four split zones. Thanks to the editor, which is available free of charge for OSX and Win, the master keyboard is able to address nine knobs, faders and buttons per split zone for controlling MIDI CCs and DAW plug-ins. Since the Kurzweil KM88 has MIDI Out and offers the possibility to connect a power supply, the master keyboard is also suitable for playing desktop synths and rack expanders. At 18.5 kg, the KM88 is no lightweight, but a very solid and stage-ready USB/MIDI keyboard that shines in many situations with practical live features.
