Solid Sitka spruce top

The solid Sitka spruce top is a key contributor to the guitar’s premium sound. This North American wood produces the bright, clear tones favored by guitarists, allowing each note to ring with precision. The back and sides are made from khaya, also known as African mahogany, providing a warm midrange spectrum and optimal tonal balance. This combination makes the guitar ideal for delicate fingerpicking as well as powerful strumming, making it a true all-rounder. Both solo passages and vocal accompaniment shine, delivering pure playing pleasure.

Perfect for flatpickers

Thanks to the non-slip okoume neck with a slim 43 mm nut width, the Lâg Tramontane T70DCE-NAT is perfect for virtuoso flatpicking. The fretting hand glides effortlessly over the smooth Brown Brankowood fingerboard, which not only ensures high playability but also supports sustainable production through a tropicalization process using fast-growing pine forests. Developed by Australian scientist Branko Hermescec, Brown Brankowood closely resembles classic tonewoods such as ebony and rosewood in both sound and feel, so no compromises are necessary.

In-house pickup

Equipped with the DirectLag GT2 system, the guitar offers flexible performance options. In addition to authentic sound reproduction from the pickup, the side preamp allows precise adjustments to suit individual preferences. Alongside a volume control, there are three tone controls for bass, midrange, and treble, while the phase switch helps reduce feedback for a clean sound. An integrated tuner ensures quick and accurate tuning in any situation.
