The LD Systems ANNY BP is a compact UHF bodypack transmitter for the ANNY wireless system and is suitable for headsets, lavalier and instrument microphones, as well as guitar cables. The 3-pin mini-XLR input allows for the connection of various signal sources. With an audio frequency response of 45 Hz to 20 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB, the bodypack transmitter reliably transmits speech, vocals and instrument signals.
The three-step input sensitivity settings – MIC, 0 dB and −10 dB – allow the transmitter to be optimally adjusted to the connected signal source. The MIC setting is intended for headsets, whilst passive guitar pickups can be operated at 0 dB and active pickups at −10 dB. The ON/STANDBY/OFF switch allows the transmitter to be switched off completely or temporarily muted without having to terminate the radio connection.
The ANNY BP provides 12 radio channels, which are selected on the compatible ANNY receiver and then synchronised with the pocket transmitter via IR. The nominal RF transmission power is 10 mW. A status LED indicates the operating status and alerts the user to a low battery level. Power is supplied by two AA/LR6 batteries (included), providing a running time of 8 hours. The transmitter can be securely attached to a belt or strap using the belt clip. The radio frequency range is 823–832 MHz and 863–865 MHz; the dimensions are 100 × 64 × 21 mm (H × W × D).
