Versatile active loudspeaker with coaxial precision: ICOA PRO 12 A

The ICOA PRO 12 A combines the acoustic precision of a true coaxial system with the flexibility of a compact 12-inch active loudspeaker. Its powerful full-range concept and robust housing make it a reliable tool for a wide range of applications - from club shows and live performances to permanent installations.

At the center is a custom-made 12" woofer with a 3" coil, combined with an equally large 3" titanium tweeter driver. The coaxial arrangement with a common drive system (common motor) produces a temporally coherent, pinpoint sound image with exceptionally natural and detailed reproduction.

The rotatable tweeter horn, developed with BEM simulation, ensures precise sound distribution and couples both the tweeter and bass driver acoustically efficiently to the surroundings. The resulting directional sound dispersion down to the lower mid-range (around 600 Hz) optimises sound transmission, especially in spatially difficult environments.

With its aerodynamically designed bass reflex ports, the bass response of the ICOA PRO 12 A extends down to an impressive 53 Hz. The integrated Class D power amplifier delivers up to 1000 watts RMS (2000 W peak) and achieves a maximum volume of 133 dB SPL - sufficient reserves for any stage situation.

At the heart of the sound processing is the modern SysCore DSP with high-quality FIR and IIR filters and intelligent limiters. This technology ensures maximum sound clarity, even at high levels or during long performances.

In terms of connectivity, the speaker offers two inputs for microphone or line signals as well as an XLR mix output for onward transmission. Four sound presets (incl. monitor mode with low latency), a delay and a parametric 4-band EQ for input and output enable precise sound tuning for the respective application.

Control is intuitive via a colour display with one-knob operation or conveniently via the "ICOA PRO" app. This provides wireless access to all functions, allows you to link multiple speakers and quickly set up stereo setups with up to two tops and four subwoofers. Bluetooth 5.1 with TWS function supports wireless music streaming. An LED on the front indicates the operating status and limiter activity.

The speaker is also mechanically impressive: a robust, reinforced ABS housing with metal grille provides protection in mobile use. Four ergonomic handles make handling easier, and the 50° angle makes it the ideal floor monitor. On stands, you can choose between 0° and 5° inclination.

For maximum installation freedom, a rotatable tweeter horn, six M10 flying points and the EasyMount® truss mount are available - vertical, horizontal or flown.
