The MON 8 A G3 from LD-Systems is a compact and powerful stage monitor which, as the smallest representative of the new stage monitor family, is particularly inconspicuous and versatile in use. or as a stage monitor, in a DJ setup or on a speaker stand as an FOH speaker, as a satellite in 2.1 systems or as a delay line speaker. The active floor monitor offers a frequency response of up to 59 Hz, which is unusually low for its size, and thus full-range sound.
The LD Systems MON G3 Series is a completely new family of active stage monitors designed for high performance. The MON G3 Series incorporates the advanced technology and high-quality materials found in high-end monitors used primarily in professional applications. This quality is now made available to everyone.
These include eg. advanced coaxial loudspeakers with integrated 50° x 90° CD horn, which ensure the acoustic ideal of a true point source and thus outstanding audio characteristics even at short listening distances. In addition, there is the high robustness, the extensive equipment and the elegant LD-Systems design.
The Class D power amplifier with 300 watts RMS and a maximum sound pressure level of 121 dB provides powerful and clear audio reproduction. The model features a coaxial design that allows for true point source sound. The 1.75" titanium diaphragm HF driver delivers precise and detailed highs, while the 8" woofer with a 2.5" voice coil provides punchy and well-defined bass. Furthermore, the product is also well-equipped in terms of connectivity and ease of use. Both the signal (XLR/jack combo) and power (PowerCON compatible) connections can be looped through. This allows for elegant, tidy cabling in multi-monitor setups or distributed sound reinforcement. The 35mm stand mount allows for easy mounting on a speaker stand for FOH applications. The heavy-duty polyurea coating and rugged front grille protect the floor monitor from external elements, making it durable and reliable.
