The MON 81 A G2 is a particularly compact active monitor with a wide frequency response and 116dB maximum sound pressure for versatile use on stage. The 8" coaxial speaker with integrated 1" high frequency driver achieves a dispersion angle of 75°x75° which is beneficial for the versatile applications as a monitor. Due to the coaxial arrangement, a very homogeneous sound image is created in the entire dispersion range and this also with very low feedback tendency. The LD-Systems MON 81 A G2 active monitor is driven by a Class AB power amplifier with 320W peak power, short-circuit protection and a limiter ensures reliable operation.
An XLR/jack combo jack and XLR output are used to connect and loop through the signal. A volume control, LED indicators and IEC power jack complete the rear panel. The elegant 15mm multiplex bass reflex cabinet is coated with durable lacquer and features ergonomically milled carrying handle and a metal grille to protect the speaker. The monitor angle is 35°.
