LD-Systems STINGER 8 A G3

The LD Systems Stinger 8 A G3 is a compact active 8" PA loudspeaker for professional sound reinforcement applications with powerful sound and versatile application possibilities. The integrated Class D power amplifier delivers 300 watts RMS and 600 watts peak power and enables a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB peak - ideal for live music, DJ setups, speech reinforcement or fixed installations.

The speaker combines an 8" woofer/midrange driver with a high-quality 1" BMS tweeter and a BEM-optimised CD horn. As a result, the Stinger 8 A G3 achieves precise and balanced sound reproduction with a wide dispersion angle of 90° x 50°. The frequency range of 70 Hz to 20 kHz ensures transparent reproduction of speech and music.

The speaker has four DSP presets for optimum customisation for different applications : full-range, satellite, monitor and flat. The integrated DynX® DSP with multiband limiter, EQ, compressor and crossover ensures controlled performance even at high volumes.

Two combined mic/line inputs in XLR/jack combo format with separate gain controls and MIC/LINE switching allow flexible connection of microphones, mixing consoles or players. The balanced XLR mono mix line output allows the signal to be easily routed to other speakers.

The robust bass-reflex enclosure made of 12 mm plywood with a hard-wearing polyurea coating is designed for professional touring and everyday installation. Other features include an aluminium dual-tilt stand flange with 0° and 5° tilt angles, an integrated M10 thread for mounting with Superclamp truss clamps and preparation for optional U-bracket and multifunctional wall brackets.

With compact dimensions of 270 x 457 x 290 mm and a weight of just 10.5 kg, the LD Systems Stinger 8 A G3 offers a powerful and transport-friendly solution for demanding sound reinforcement tasks.
