The compact, pocket-sized Mevo Start camera is ideal for direct streaming to social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Periscope, Twitter, Linkedln and more via Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP). Simply connect to the live platform with the Mevo app and you're ready to go. And all this without cables or additional batteries with a battery life of 6 hours. Thanks to an HDR sensor with a larger pixel size (2.9 um), Mevo Start also offers strong performance in low light conditions. In addition, three digital MEMS microphones with high signal-to-noise ratio provide an excellent sound experience. A microphone can also be connected via a 3.5 mm jack connection, which enables direct recording.

Needed a recording/streaming device for our church services that wasn’t complicated to configure. The Mevo Starter was easy to set up and was up and running very quickly. Tempted to get one for myself now!.
Making streaming so much easier and less expensive. Works with OBS encoder like a dream using MS NDi plugin installed. I would highly recommend this setup if you have over 1000 followers on YouTube, because of the direct stream function, minus the encoder... amazing!
The Mevo app is excellent and free, was a bit awkward setting up the camera on my wifi but once you get used to it, it is fine. I would like more cameras to test out the broadcast features of switching cameras. Overall this is a great quality piece of kit.
