High-Class Stereo Headphone Amplifier

The Lake People HPA RS 08 is a high-class stereo headphone amplifier of the Reference series. Its high-quality components guarantee optimum amplification and linear reproduction. 2 headphones can be connected in parallel on the front panel. In addition, the HPA RS 08 has a 4-pin XLR input socket for connecting balanced headphones. A low internal gain prevents audible self-noise. Due to the high 60 volt operating voltage, it is also ideally suited for high-impedance headphones. The power amplifiers, which can deliver significantly more current than headphones require, make it suitable for low-impedance models and magnetostats. The internal flexible inbound/outbound structure allows various settings. For example, the input signal can be looped through passively or actively with or without volume control. On the rear panel are the unbalanced inputs and outputs and a 5x gain adjustment for input and output source.
