At the heart of the A-31’s sound lies its high-end tonewood combination, which creates a resonant, balanced tone with impressive projection. The solid cedar top produces a warm, rich voice full of complex overtones – perfect for expressive playing styles. The solid East Indian rosewood back and sides contribute a tight low end and defined midrange, enhancing volume and tonal clarity across the spectrum. Whether you're fingerpicking delicate melodies or strumming bold chords, this guitar responds with precision and dynamic range, making it ideal for discerning classical, crossover, or acoustic musicians.
The Crossover design merges classical build quality with steel-string ergonomics. The 4/4 auditorium body features a slim waist and comfortable contours that sit naturally in the player’s lap. A nut width of 46 mm – narrower than traditional classical guitars—makes complex chord voicings and flatpicking feel more intuitive, especially for steel-string players transitioning to nylon. The cutaway design allows easy access to upper frets, while the smooth rosewood fingerboard and satin-finished cedro neck ensure effortless fretting and fluid movement across the entire range. Jung Klassik machine heads provide stable, precise tuning for professional-level performance.
Equipped with the L.R. Baggs Anthem SL, the A-31 Custom Crossover is ready for any stage or recording environment. This advanced pickup system features TRU•MIC technology, combining an internal condenser microphone with a high-quality undersaddle piezo element to deliver a natural, studio-grade amplified sound. The system offers impressive feedback resistance and captures every nuance of the player’s dynamics and technique. A discreet control panel inside the soundhole provides intuitive access to volume and blend adjustments, offering flexible sound shaping without compromising the guitar’s aesthetic.
