Crafted from solid tonewoods, it delivers tonal depth sure to please any guitar enthusiast, while its compact Grand Concert body ensures comfortable playability. The beautifully shaped cutaway not only greatly enhances access to the upper frets but also adds an aesthetic touch. Its attractive finish and refined visual details further highlight the guitar’s stylish appearance. Equipped with a pickup, this instrument shines equally on stage and in the studio, and comes with a guitar case for convenient transport.
The solid tonewoods deliver a bold, confident sound, while carefully selected materials ensure an exceptional listening experience. The European hazel spruce top produces a classic, clear tone with brilliant overtones, beautifully balanced by the warm, rich sound of the blackwood back and sides. This combination results in a precise, articulate sound that brings out every note with clarity – ideal for fingerstyle playing but also perfectly suited for powerful strumming. The Lakewood M-55 Edition 2024 truly shines as a versatile all-rounder across a wide range of techniques and musical styles.
Beyond its impressive sound, the guitar also stands out with design features that ensure maximum playability. The integrated cutaway is a premium touch, providing easy access to the highest frets. The ergonomic cedro neck with a comfortable V-profile fits naturally in the hand, while the ebony fingerboard – with its smooth, velvety texture – allows for fluid playing and quick chord changes. A 45 mm wide bone nut and matching bone bridge inlay guarantee clean intonation for precise tuning. Finally, Gotoh SGL-510Z tuners deliver excellent tuning stability.
Stage-ready and studio-worthy, the Lakewood M-24 comes equipped with the L.R. Baggs Anthem pickup system, featuring TRU•MIC technology. This hybrid system blends an internal microphone with a piezo pickup to capture the full sonic range of the guitar with astonishing detail. The result is a natural, feedback-resistant amplified tone that remains true to the guitar’s acoustic voice. Discreet volume and tone controls located in the soundhole allow for intuitive tone shaping.
