Good add on to the snare if you're looking for some tambourine sound add to your snare. It attaches with the magnet to snare rim. As it is the magnet - you can have issues with non magnetic alloys (i.e. Brass). It does not stick to die cast rim. But even though, it stays in the position but is slightly louder and less controllable. Piece of tape will keep it good.
Jingle very slightly dampens the snare head, correct the wire sensitivity to keep the feel you need.
What is great is that if you play very lightly - jingle is not so reactive so you can basically control amount of its accent by controlling the snare hit volume.
Sometimes jingles were resonating with floor tom and bass frequencies. It's not audible in band playing situation.
Jingle is a very good add on for people who want to put tambourine accent on snare hit without need to hit additional tambourine mounted or played by someone else
