With a gain of 72 dB, any microphone can be driven to high levels, even without a signal amplifier. Start the autosetup and CONNECT 2 will guide you through the process to find the perfect settings and sound.
For more individuality, CONNECT 2 offers three unique preamp sounds - Clear for absolute clarity, Warm for a vintage touch and Vivid for added articulation. The Clipguard protects the incoming signal from distortion, while the integrated De-noiser removes background noise and the Compressor adds power and punch to your voice. This range of sound effects is ideal for music, podcasts and streaming applications and runs directly on CONNECT 2's powerful signal processor(DSP).
CONNECT 2 offers an intuitive user interface with touch control for precise level adjustments and accurate visual displays. The touch wheel in the center allows you to control the microphone and instrument input as well as the headphone and monitor levels.
Each input and output can be muted directly on the device. The autogain function automatically sets the perfect gain settings after a quick sound check.
The ratio between the input and playback signal can also be adjusted for latency-free monitoring. You can use the custom button to assign one of the numerous workflow shortcuts, for example, to switch between recording and monitoring situations at the touch of a button or to call up the CONTROL
Connect your guitar to the Hi-Z instrument input and enjoy a direct signal that faithfully reproduces your playing. The differential input works with any type of guitar, from vintage single coils to active humbuckers.
