The LiNTEC from Lindell Audio is a passive EQ in Pultec style with one channel. It has two bands (low and high), which can be adjusted via the corresponding detented potentiometers in the respective section. This allows the LiNTEC to shape and refine the sound with a warm vintage character. The device also has a wonderful function on board: the Pultec low-end trick. This maintains the effect even when the EQ is set flat, creating a very special sound that has already helped many songs to success.
The solid state circuitry inside the LiNTEC ensures a warm sound, a low-noise signal and optimum processing of the transients - without any tubes. The transients are reproduced precisely and concisely with a slightly soft, creamy and powerful character. In addition, Lindell has installed an OPA 1731 operational amplifier for up to +40dB gain and customized transformers at the input and output of the device, which contribute significantly to the clean sound of the LiNTEC.
On the front of the device there is also a real bypass switch that can be used to remove the device from the signal path (A/B comparison) and a calibratable and backlit VU meter for visually checking the level. The LiNTEC can also be connected to a second device to form a stereo pair.
