This piece of hardware does what its supposed to. I bought to add 2 extra channels to my audio interface via spdif.
Haven´t noticed any degradation on sound and no extra latency.
The price is awesome for a piece that can add two extra channels to my interface.
The only downside is it only allows 48khz/24bit protocol. It would be amazing it could handle 96khz sample rate.
