Line 6 M13 main features include:
excellent thing fore filters, delay and modulation.
in comarison to an analogue boss chorus there is some difference, but the m13 is really as nice as the boss.
delays are bueatifull.
distortions/overdrives are not so nice, I prefer my amp for those sounds.
if there were no overdrives on board I would rate it five stars
Truly a bargain, the dist pedals may not be as good as a true analog ..but not far off. The rest of the M13 is pure magic!!! Specially if your in to U2 stuff ..its a must ..to get the stuff you need as separate pedals would set you back 5 times the price!
Great thing for tour. guitarists - you have all sounds in one package! There are 5 main types of sound - delay, mod, distortion, filter and reverb. Esp. delays and filters are interesting and great for experiments - for example, your guitar can sound as a synthesizer.
You can add external pedals and use wah, whammy or volume. Looper is also a good idea and it works well.
I had just one problem - squeaking pedals but on the stage it is not as loud as your amp. :-)
Bought it just over a year ago. great pedal board. it really does everything. ver easy to use and the tones/effects are brilliant. i use the board with a clean channel on my amplifier and let the pedal drive the amp. sounds great especially with a good guitar/pick-ups. my one issue with the pedal was the power adaptor which is supplied with it upon purchase. the wire is very thin and freys very easily. i had to buy a new one a few months after purchase. the only other issue i encountered was a faulty stomp button but that was easily fixed by tightening the alen holes. overall very pleased with the board. would recommend strongly. bit pricey, but for the amount of stomp boxes included its a bargain and with the usb connection you can continually get new sounds frm the line 6 web page.
