All components in the audio path of the Monotor were selected for sonic neutrality. Only a single state of the art active stage is used in the circuit path of each headphone ear, with all else, straight wire passive.

The Monotor offers extensive mono monitoring capability settings (left-plus-right, left, right, and left-minus-right), ideal for checking phase and analyzing artifacts in compressed digital files.
