MFB MIDI-CV

MFB MIDI/CV is an interface module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The module offers CV and GATE output as well as the conversion of the modulation wheel voltage. MIDI clock and start/stop are also output as corresponding trigger signals. In addition, the module is M-BUS compatible.

MFB's versatile MIDI/CV interface

The format can be selected via a jumper (Start/Stop 5/0 Volt, Clock 96/clock or Start/Stop 1 pulse each, Clock 16/clock). The MIDI/CV module has a learn function for the MIDI channel. Another interesting feature of these modules is the M-BUS connector, a serial data output developed by MFB (similar to MIDI), but with up to 12 times the speed. This means that all trigger signals and all CV voltages are transmitted as controller values to the modules via one line, which has the advantage that the cabling can be reduced to a minimum in addition to the speed. The module converts all notes and controller values sent via MIDI channel 10 and outputs them to the M-Bus.
