The Music Store Academy Next Step Workshops offer recording beginners an ideal environment to deepen their knowledge of the Basic Workshops. This package contains the Next Step Workshops 1 to 5, which conclude with the diploma as Virtual Studio Engineer. The aim is to teach the technical basics of audio recording hardware and software and the marketing of our own music productions.
- With the workshop Next Step 1 you get to know the basic knowledge of recording. This includes topics such as the basics of MIDI practice, software configuration, music computer setups and important hardware for music production.
- Next Step 2 imparts knowledge of the most important hardware and software components of modern music production, as well as their working methods and interrelationships. This recording workshop is mainly oriented towards the creation of a good sounding song demo.
- Next Step 3 deals with all aspects of software instruments and effects and provides tips, tricks and basic handling.
- The workshop Next Step 4.1 deals with the extension of a room into an individual home studio. The focus here is on the recording hardware, the proper cabling and the correct use of the various components.
- Next Step 4.2 builds on the theme of the Next Step 4.1 workshop and covers the general process of a music production in detail, including Fokus a finished official production.
- The Next Step 5 workshop specifically trains the marketing of one's own music. The legal framework conditions are explained and the strategic approach is conveyed.

This workshop is primarily aimed at recording beginners who want to deepen their knowledge of BASIC workshops. The necessary basic knowledge for safe handling in modern music production is imparted. Since this is a Recording-Workshop package, several workshops are included ( Next Step 1 - 5), which qualify for the Diploma of the Virtual Studio Engineer.
