Don't let the picture fool you, this mic stand is very solid and sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It can be used for miking nearly anything, from combos and instruments to vocalist and overheads. Awesome!

The stand is quite bulky - the main pole is 25 mm wide, compared to 20 mm in other stands I've been using. The shortest transport length is 114 cm (without mic clip) which will not fit many microphone transport bags (eg. Gravity bag). It weighs 2,8 kg. Each one of the 4 stands I have has the swivel arm assembled at different angle to the adjustment handle and in two of these the stopper on the thinnest part of the arm will not prevent user from taking this part out (as normally I'm not going to extend it very much I don't see a problem here). A very nice feature is adjustment of the arm with only one lever - length and angle can be adjusted simultaneously. Height adjustment handle is quite stiff compared to the K&M stand I have, which may not be the best choice for frequent change by female singers.
