Grand patch cables for hooking up loop effects, though I wouldnt run my main dirt signal through them, make sure they are not under any pressure against the board at the input as the joint will bend and snap the wiring inside.

I use these in patch bays where other heavier leads can put strain on the contacts inside the patch sockets, causing dodgy signal flow and connections. I would much rather swap a lead than whip out the entire patch bay for a soldering exercise.
