This came free with a synth so I can't comment on the price. There was a lot of different attachments with this and it's definitely flexible as a power supply. I would say that the polarity of the central pin and surrounding ring isn't very obvious and you need to scrutinise the tiny symbols on each attachment to see which way round to insert them. I guess there's a risk here that you put in in the wrong way round and damage your gear by running the wrong polarity through it. It's not complicated to get it right but you just need to take care.
