The MXL 990 Blizzard is a Pressure Gradient Studio Condenser Microphone that provides a signal with solid low-end and silky highs via an FET preamp with balanced output. The MXL 900 has a vintage –style aesthetic with an attractive Champagne finish, which leaves an impression not often found in microphones this reasonably priced. The large 6-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm allows the MXL 990 to be used to capture audio from a vast array of sources, making it the perfect workhorse in the studio, whether it be on digital or analogue recordings.
