MXR meets Analog.Man

With the MXR CSP039 Duke or Tone Overdrive, the MXR Custom store presents a very special treat for all sound connoisseurs and pedal enthusiasts. Developed by Analog.Man founder Mike Piera himself, the effect pedal is a direct descendant of the popular King or Tone and Prince or Tone pedals and naturally relies on an analogue circuit with carefully matched through-hole components to reproduce the incredibly warm, yet clear and dynamic Analog.Man sound.

Three clipping modes and a straightforward layout.

At the heart of the MXR Custom Shop Duke or Tone are three different clipping modes, tuned by analog Mike to let every nuance of the playing technique and equipment used shine. The Boost mode gives the signal a clear, yet clean boost, while the OD setting promises the right amount of dirt and compression for a lively Overdrive. Friends of higher gain levels, on the other hand, get their money's worth with the Dist mode, which delivers a perfectly compressed Distortion that responds lively to the way you play. The straightforward layout with controls for Drive, Tone and Volume allows intuitive and precise adjustment of the sound in all three settings of the Duke from Tone MXR.
