The Mackie Thrash15v2 is a powerful active 15-inch PA speaker designed for live sound, DJs, bands, rehearsal rooms, events and mobile sound systems. With 1,300 watts of Class D power, a 15-inch ferrite woofer, a 1-inch polymer compression driver and a maximum sound pressure level of 129 dB SPL, it delivers punchy sound at high volumes with reliable performance.
The updated V2 version offers modern, practical features such as four voicing modes, a feedback eliminator and Bluetooth® streaming with a link function to a second speaker.
The 15-inch woofer provides a powerful bass foundation and is ideal for music, DJ sets, vocals, speech and live instruments. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 18 kHz, the Mackie Thrash15v2 covers a wide range of applications.
With the built-in voicing modes – Flat, DJ, Live and Wedge – the sound can be quickly adapted to different applications. Flat delivers neutral reproduction, DJ provides more punch for pre-recorded music, Live is suitable for vocals and speech, whilst Wedge optimises the speaker for use as a stage monitor.
This means the Mackie Thrash15v2 can be tailored directly to the situation at hand without complicated settings.
The switchable Feedback Eliminator helps to effectively reduce disruptive microphone feedback. This is particularly useful for vocal set-ups, presentations, speech amplification and live set-ups involving microphones.
This keeps the sound more under control and simplifies the set-up, even when there is no dedicated sound engineer on site.
Thanks to Bluetooth streaming, music, backing tracks or intermission music can be streamed wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or compatible playback device. The microphone input remains available, so announcements or vocals can be delivered simultaneously.
A second speaker can be connected via the Bluetooth® Link function. This enables true stereo playback or dual-mono operation for larger set-ups.
The XLR/TRS combo input, featuring a gain control and overload LED, allows you to connect microphones, mixing desks, instruments or audio sources. The XLR mix output lets you route the signal – including Bluetooth® – to additional speakers.
This makes the Thrash15v2 particularly practical for small PA systems, DJ set-ups, public address systems and mobile events.
The sturdy cabinet with integrated handles is designed for frequent transport and regular use. The standard stand mount allows it to be used on a speaker stand.
When positioned on its side, the Mackie Thrash15v2 can also be used as a stage monitor. This makes it versatile enough to be used as a front speaker, DJ monitor or stage monitor.
